I just got back from presenting at a conference in Denver. On the plane ride home I was trying to define this as a successful trip, but I was having a hard time since I did not set any single goal that would make this successful. I ponder the questions and I realized that there were two phases to success…
Tangible
- Financial
- Analytics or Results
- Testimonials and Referrals
Intangible
- Influence
- Knowledge & Personal Growth
- New Opportunities
In this episode, I will guide you through the conclusions that I had come to and how you can use them to help you see that success is not a destination, but a path every business person must travel.
Great points Brian! I agree there are many different facets. I feel going to the different Live Events, having the opportunity to learn and apply new techniques, creating relationships can create many new opportunities that can change the trajectory of your life.
You never know who you will meet and when you come from place of service and how you can help others is where the magic happens!
We met at that event back in December and from our relationship created, we have been able to Impact even more people. So overall, yes, I should say that was successful! ?
Thanks Jocelyn… I have to say that I am blessed to have met and get to know you and Rex better!
What is “Success” , One may measure success in what they have accomplished throughout their career as an entrepreneur, how much they have earned, business’s they’ve built and grown from a one room idea to a leading to fortune 500 company. But I see it in a way that affects me on a personal level, a level that started with Brian Basilico teaching me that success can only begin with you, deep inside you, not just your education but your commitment to strive to be the best and never look back. We started with motivational talks while building a recording studio for singer song writers, his knowledge of what helps people become better at anything they do is a natural God given talent that he has progresses and sharpened over the years. Thanks to Brian I found the motivation to continue my education that opened many doors for me as a paramedic, firefighter and father to three beautiful children, so my success came in the form or personal grown that lead me down a path of my choosing, Grow with Brian’s teaching and I promise, you will achieve the goal you seek. It’s been over 30 years sine I met Brian and I cherish all his wisdom as I know you will. Keep up the good work and reach for the stars. Thank you Brian!
Bro… I am in tears. You are living proof that paying forward reaps results! Keep in mind everything you have achieved came from within and I am proud of you and honored to call you my friend! Thanks for the comment and feedback!YOU ROCK (Literally).
