Some of you may laugh because the words “Emotional” and “Intelligence” generally do go together in your business universe. Emotional Intelligence – is the ability to recognize your own emotions and those of others, to identify your feelings and how it can effect communications. It can help you manage and/or adjust emotions to adapt to environments or achieve one's goal(s).
In a past episode (439 on Crystal with Drew D’Agostino) I talk about the DISC system and how you can do an immediate personality test for your prospects online using this software and LinkedIn. DISC is a behavior assessment tool which centers on four different personality traits
- Dominance (D) – Run The Show – They Are The Boss
- Influence (I) – Feel Important – Successful Results
- Steadiness (S) – The Planner – Step Through The Results
- Conscientiousness (C) – The Rule Oriented Analyst – Organize & Prioritize
